The weather this weekend in Philadelphia was simply amazing! With less than 36 hours in the city, we were able to fit so much outside time in. I’m also excited to share with you all the first (of many, hopefully) outfit posts on Simply Adored. Disclaimer: by no means do I consider myself on top of the fashion trends, but I do enjoy my classic staples. I’ve linked as many items as I could!
Saturday morning I hopped on an 8am flight from Boston to Philly. We threw our bags down at the hotel (our room wasn’t ready), so this meant I didn’t have time to change before walking around the city. My Tory Burch espadrilles were an amazing find at a vintage store (still had the tags on them and they’re current season) and were comfortable for a day of strolling. Who can go wrong with a pair of white jeans and stripes, too?
Saturday night we had plans to eat dinner at Talula’s Garden and then meet a friend from college at the Stratus Lounge rooftop of the Hotel Monaco. I opted for the same pair of white jeans, but wore one of my favorite silk shirts and wedges to dress them up.

An early afternoon flight on Sunday meant we had time for brunch (at Parc) and a quick stroll through Rittenhouse Square. There was an art festival in the square last weekend so it was a busy place to be! I found this Loft dress Saturday while shopping in Philly and had to grab it (it was less than $15 on sale and is still online). These stripes are the perfect summer staple.
So glad to finally be wearing some of my summer clothes and looking forward to finding some more staples for my summer wardrobe!
