Growing up, dinner was a nightly sit-down family event. No matter how crazy our schedules, we’d set the table and eat together each night. Now, some nights the coffee table is my dinner table and my television is my conversation partner. But that doesn’t mean that when my nights are crazy I can’t still enjoy a nice set-up and feel somewhat civilized.

Enter The Everyday Napkin, a reusable napkin handmade by Bash Studio.

Kathryn (creative genius behind Bash Studio) designs and styles lovely events. For one of her events, she made a small batch of handmade cloth napkins and the idea stuck! She started using found designer textiles (including linen, chambray and new! metallic linen) as eco-friendly practice. Kathryn and her mother cut and stitch each napkin by hand– their hard work and attention to detail is clear from the quality of each piece. See her full inspiration for The Everyday Napkin!

The result is great! A reusable cloth napkin for everyday use that adds the perfect pop of color to your table. Here’s a recap of the West Elm Fenway Pop-Up shop on Saturday as well as how I styled my Everyday Napkins. I created my own set of napkins, but there are pre-made sets available too (this aqua one from the launch collection is a favorite).

Thank you to Kathryn for taking the time to chat about her beautiful product and the story behind it!
