A rainy end to the week, but looking ahead we finally seem to be breaking into spring! This week’s WindDown is a breath of fresh everything. From shopping to cleaning to long-distance friendships, hope this inspires you to celebrate new beginnings!
one// spring organizing, made simple. I plan on starting small with this– maybe the kitchen cabinets and then my closet (frightening!). I love re-purposing things for decorating or more practical purposes. The clothespin magnets, paint can organizers and tote pocket are great quick fixes for that winter clutter.
two// big sister. I’m honored that I got to share my story about my Big Sister relationship on the Big Sister blog! It was great getting to write about such a clear message: be present, not perfect.
three// rikshaw design. The colors– oh my! You can’t browse the beautiful clothing on Rikshaw without feeling cheerier. Their spring fabrics are inspired by travels to India and all of their textiles are printed by hand! I want to order one of everything for my upcoming Florida trip– but for now I’m thinking this dress, this pineapple cover-up, or this tassel top?
four// pink peonies. Both the flowers and Rachel of Pink Peonies’ spring looks on her blog. I can’t wait to find these pink beauties in the grocery store! No luck so far, but any day now I’ll be restocking these almost weekly. Rachel’s spring outfits are beautiful and I’m jealous of the beautiful weather. If you’re looking to update your spring wardrobe, this denim jacket, these pink heels and matching bags, and this laser-cut midi skirt are on point!
five// to brighten your day.
Happy (Spring) Weekend!
